Access Floor Systems
Tascom™ CF-CL Bare Panel System
The 600mm x 600mm panel is manufactured using a steel/cementitious construction. A hard precision sized steel outer shell is filled with a concrete composite core to provide strength, acoustic rating and fire resistance.
This access floor system combines lockable panels within a stringerless, cornerlocked understructure. The panel and understructure unite to provide a rigid access floor membrane that provides easy underfloor access and a very stable surface. The finished access floor has a ‘bare’ panel surface finish ready to accept on-site floor covering supplied by others.

Tascom™ CF-SCX Laminate Panel System
The 600mm x 600mm panel is manufactured using a steel/cementitious construction. A heavy-duty precision-sized steel outer shell is filled with a concrete composite core to provide strength, acoustic rating and fire resistance. To provide an anti-static surface, a layer of hard wearing high pressure laminate is bonded to the top surface. The resulting heavy grade panel is a structural element that achieves maximum strength and durability for the widest range of anti-static applications.
This access floor system combines panels in a gravity held format within a stringered understructure. The panel and understructure unite to provide excellent lateral stability and rigidity along with easy underfloor access, making this system suitable for the majority of Computer Room / Equipment Room environments. The finished access floor has an anti-static High Pressure Laminate surface finish ready for installation and immediate use.

DirectAire®
Directional Airflow for Optimum Cooling
DirectAire® angles the airflow toward the server rack which significantly reduces bypass air. Unlike typical grates which only deliver 30-50% of air directly to the rack, DirectAire has a 93% Total Air Capture(TAC) rate. This means that 93% of the air is captured by the server rack, enabling improved energy performance.
With a strong all steel construction, DirectAire enables a data centre to enjoy operational savings as the number of CRAH units can be reduced due to the precise delivery of air. As bypass air has virtually been eliminated, the facilities overall cooling capacity can be improved, allowing for the addition of IT equipment with the capital investments on infrastructure.
Key Performance Characteristics
- Directional air flow achieves a 93% total air capture.
- Pressure equalizing diffusion blades.
- Cools over 25kW per rack.
- 68% open area delivers 1227 L/s @ 25 Pa.
- Reduces capital expenditures on cooling infrastructure by 40%.
- Over 40% annual fan energy savings.
- 7.5kN Design Load.

DirectAire® Al
The DirectAire Al is an all aluminum lightweight directional airflow panel that uses patent pending technology to angle the air toward the equipment achieving a 93% Capture Index. This means that 93% of the airflow delivered through the airflow panel is entering the face of the server rack, providing the highest cooling capacity and energy efficiency of any aluminum airflow panel on the market.
Directional airflow panels maximize the financial performance of any new or existing data center. The precise delivery of air reduces bypass airflow allowing new facilities to reduce the number of CRAH units.
Airflow Performance Information

*Cooling capacities were calculated using the following formula:(CFM x Capture Index %) / 126(CFM needed to cool 1kW @ 25ºF ΔT)= kW per rack.
Retrofits can set CRAH units with fixed speed fans to standby mode or adjust variable fan drives to operate at a lower static pressure, saving energy. Likewise the 93% Capture Index eliminates the need for a full containment system. The facilities overall cooling capacity will also be improved allowing for the addition of IT equipment without capital investments on infrastructure.
Key Performance Characteristics
- Lightweight cast aluminum grate design.
- 60% Open Area delivers 2,451 CFM at 0.10" H2O.
- Cools over 18kW per rack at 0.10" H2O.
- 1,500 lb. Design load performance.
- Directional Airflow for 93% Capture Index.
- Manual and automatic airflow control options.

*Cooling capacities were calculated using the following formula:(L/s x Total Air Capture %) / 126(L/s needed to cool 1kW @ -3.89ºC )= kW per rack.
Key Performance Characteristics
- Allows for directional airflow delivery to two racks when the existing cold aisle can only accommodate one airflow panel.
- Capable of cooling 10kW per rack @ 25 Pa due to evenly split nature of directional airflow paths.
High Density Cooling Capacity
DirectAire® X2's capacity to distribute high volumes of air directly and equally across the face of the server rack gives it the distinctive ability to handle very high density equipment. The table below lists cooling capacities per rack based on a mathematical calculation for systems without containment. Laboratory testing was conducted using load banks to measure the cooling effectiveness and verify the calculated kW/ rack heat loads.
